The Role:

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Consolidation Accountant to join our Financial Reporting team. This position will be a key team member in the financial reporting process and responsibilities will include consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities, assisting in management of master data, intercompany accounting, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting and reporting skills, experience with multi-entity environments, be a strong communicator and have a passion for process improvement.

Day to Day:

 

  • Coordinate with regional and subsidiary finance teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Perform intercompany eliminations, and equity accounting entries.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Assist in analyzing consolidated results and provide variance explanations to management.
  • Maintain and improve consolidation processes and systems.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and review master data needs for M&A integration for appropriate consolidation.
  • Maintain SAP master data, including testing and configuration, as needed.
  • Complete assigned internal control procedures to ensure timely compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and corporate policies.
  • Participate in special projects, including M&A integration and system upgrades.
  • Provide support for both internal and external auditors.
  • Maintain technical job knowledge and personal skill development.
  • Support Company and Team goals by assisting internal customers, analyzing financial data, preparing ad hoc reports, and other projects, as required.

Come on your first day with:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certificate preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of applied accounting experience. 
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with large ERP system (SAP) is desirable.
  • Must combine attention to detail with the ability to envision the big picture.
  • Demonstrated background in applying analytical/accounting research skills.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate appropriate initiative and decision-making behaviors.
  • Adept writing skills, including task documentation and report writing.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, including strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate projects.
  • Proven ability to function in a team environment, provide information and training to users while treating them with respect and dignity. 
  • Requires outstanding ethical standards and values consistent with those of the Company.

Base salary range: $79,500.00 - $109,100.00 per year, depending on qualifications

Annual Target Incentive: Level 2, 9.5% target
Targets are calculated using eligible earnings during plan year participation. Payout, if earned, is based on company and individual performance for each plan year and may range from 0% – 200% of target. Targets are subject to change in subsequent plan years. Must be employed by September 30 in order to receive any prorated payout.
